With the introduction of corporate agriculture, we have lost the ethics of care, compassion and community that have connected rural areas for generations. My hope is that by sharing their experiences, individuals will be able to participate in a collective process of togetherness. Not only will the sharing of these stories bring about healing for those directly impacted, but it will also help to level the playing field by giving voice to the powerless.
